Oh man, you wrote a Sten & Leliana ficlet. For that alone, you've got my attention - it just seems like there's so much potential there and almost no one writes them together. I love that they're the boy and girl in question, especially given the conversations they have about females on the battlefield in the game.

My favorite part though is the end. They're both in character, and I love how he's not instantly thanking her or declaring his friendship but is sort of at a loss about how to absorb what just happened. Too bad there isn't more because I enjoyed the hell out of this.

Thank you! This was my first real attempt at writing either Sten or Leliana, so it's good to hear they came off in-character. I figured, if Sten can barely even thank the Warden for helping him find his sword, he's not going to be thanking Leliana for keeping his skull intact, either. ;)

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic!

I cannot write fight scenes at all, so I am in awe of how well this one works. There's not a lot of Leliana fic out there, so I like to see one that blends her fighting skills and being cute and giggly all in one go.

Wow, thanks! I was afraid the fight scene got a little too wordy, so I'm glad you liked it. And you hit exactly on why I love Leliana--she's giggly and adorable, but still every inch a badass.
