Five month anniversary of when mom died today, and I got a call from my dad's renter at 8:30 to say he'd just called 911 and was on his way to the hospital in an ambulance

No kidding! I think he wasn't exactly thinking clearly between the dehydration and the poor sugar control. I'm actually amazed he had it together enough to call the ambulance.
