still no news
she's still hanging on, and we're still here. i'm going to have to go get some sweat pants or something at target since Chris gave me two pieces of chocolate but only TOLD me about one piece, so I laid on the second one and it melted in a very unfortunate spot. -

This morning mom started having a lot of trouble breathing and was very agitated. They've been trying to make her comfortable but there is a lot of fluid on her lung and she's not strong enough to make it through the procedure to remove it. At the hospital again
I called my dad at 11:15 today to see how mom was doing, because she wasn't feeling very well last night. He said she was still feeling like crap but that it didn't seem like another stroke (I'd made my aunt who was visiting look for signs last night). The mouths of babes
My cousin Shannon called me last night to tell me her four year old daughter prayed for my mom while she said grace last night:
"...and auntie Phyllis, and any animals who might have been on the bridge." -
I'm ok
As far as I know, everyone in my circle is okay. My sisters were on the bridge about an hour before it fell but they made it to the Dome and were actually the first people to call me (thank God... I'd have been seriously panicking otherwise).
I hope all other locals and their friends/families are ok! -

Sounds of the hospital
- Earlier I came back to mom's room to find a dude sitting outside her closed door playing a guitar.
- Several/many times a day we hear the music to Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star. We found out that means a baby was born! Kind of a sweet reminder that some good stuff happens in hospitals, too.
