I was wavering on dropping you a note about this and had something typed up but was sitting on it. I did, however, see your plurk, so I figured it couldn't hurt. It seems like you're aware of these issues! So:

"I want to preface this by saying that so far your play of Phoenix in your intro post is mostly good. You have a lot of threads where his voice is dead on and his actions fall in line with his character. However, some of his comments seem off. In particular, his thread with Vanessa isn't really Phoenix-like, even for AJ!Phoenix.

AJ!Phoenix is a character that we see as initially seeming apathetic. He drifts in his speech patterns, he doesn't entirely seem with it, and you only get the hint of danger from him when he's hard pressed or when he really wants you to. And even then, as the final chapter in Apollo Justice shows us when we get to see things from Phoenix's perspective, there are still remnants of the old Phoenix Wright there. Phoenix is not the type of character who would use violence against a woman, even in jest. We

Yes! I definitely agree with everything you've said here but I am very glad you brought it up to me. I can't really brain a detailed reply at the moment but really, it would just be me agreeing with your statements you've made here. O: I made a mistake in my play and I will accept this! It's been quite a while since I've roleplayed Phoenix so I'm kind of settling into him again and there will definitely be some snags here and there while I do this. Though like I said in my OOC intro, I'm trying to be the best Phoenix I can be! I'm very very very glad you brought this up to me, at least. It makes me feel good to hear that someone wants to help me improve

Hey, it's cool! You mentioned in Plurk you wanted people to come to you, so I figured I'd do so. You don't need to respond to all of it or any of it; it's really just meant to help and be food for thought. ♥

I think in the end, in regards to that one thread, you should do what will be comfortable for you in terms of adjusting your play since, like you said, it's been a bit and you've hit some snags and are working on smoothing them out. If you can roll onward from this, great, but I don't personally think there's any harm in redoing the thread if you think it'll help your play out in the long run! If that makes sense?
