I was warned it could be dangerous

I have never learned how to fall correctly (to prevent injuries) and it made a difference yesterday.  It was also caused by a poor decisions by myself and on the driver in front of me.  "It" being an incident where I got into an accident with my motorcycle and sustained a serious injury.  Let me back up though

Ouch. Hope the surgery goes well and quickly and you're healed very soon.

A friend of mine was able to drive a stick-shift in a cast, but it was certainly very tricky.

Thanks for the well wishes. I just hope I don't have to wait days to have the surgery done. Luckily it's a slow time at work so others can cover for me easily, especially if I have to be out for days.

all things considered, i'm really glad you're okay. i know you're in a lot of pain with a long road ahead, but damn. *hugs*

As I think I've said once before (under different circumstances), "damn indeed". I'm not so much in pain as moderate uncomfortableness. Also trying to keep my arm from not cramping up takes effort. I'll likely be in pain again after the surgery. I'm really glad I'm ok too.
