Today/tonight was a win/win/win day. In only eight short hours I raked in the chips/cash at the Delaware casino, there was virtually no line at the casino deli (even at 11:30pm there can be a huge line), and because of my massive win I convinced myself to go home (and get home) before midnight. Settling down in poker
After a mere 6-8 years of playing poker have I finally settled into a style of playing that suits me and seems to be profitable. A fast learner I apparently am not. I took advantage of the free admission day and headed to Georgetown to the National Pinball Museum. Today was their last day in the present location. They are beig forced to move and hopefully have a spot in Baltimore for early next yaer. Life randomness
It has been nearly two weeks since I had my tattoo applied, and it's still in it's flakiness/peeling stage (which starts about 4-5 days after it's done). The two biggest claw marks Fudge inflicted are still bright red and distracting from the tattoo. Fudge had one of her teeth pulled Thursday. Per the vet's orders, she is supposed to only eat wet food for the next three weeks. Don't feel left out anymore
For me, it started with me getting annoyed at coworkers. We are on the 7th floor of an all glass exterior buildling. Off by a year
I have always told people I owned my (one and only) horse for two years before I sold him to my friend Caroline. Turns out I was wrong. In cleaning/boxing up stuff in my bedroom in preparation for painting next week, I found all the vet invoices from when I owned him. It's annual shot time for my cats. To try to minimize the hit to my credit card bill (which is already going to get brought to it's knees from my laminate/carpet purchase), I bring in the cats two by two, spaced out by at least 2-3 weeks so the charges show up on subsequent monthly statements ( Read more... )
