Why I love muffins!

So I randomly called one of my friends yesterday and he said that I am apparently the envy of every 20-something since I am married and have a bean-to-be on the way.  I would say that I am not a Zach-Braff-wannabe who needs romantical drama to feel alive, so I found that very surprising and it made me think of how people actually react negatively ( Read more... )

They probably react negatively to good things in your life because those good things are large and life changing and those people are not ready for or don't want those same things, so they get freaked out.
So when you say you're having a baby, many people our age have this mental reaction:

Besides, I know a decent amount of people who do not give up the romantic drama just cause they're married...or have kids...or both...

Right, romantic drama is FUN. It's silly! But I look around at people (like say K or L) who cannot admit their insecurities and am baffled. Like, people's jaws drop if you say out loud "Yes I'm sexy" because all they know about sex is that it's YUCKY and gives you AIDS (but somehow feels good). And then they worry and don't kow how to reboot. I just think that people should have a mandatory screening of "The Dao of Steve" if they reach a certain level of constant complaining. It's like, people all complain, but I sometimes wonder if complaining is more fun to certain people than fixing problems, which is SCARY.

Quick example: Jews.

The reason why I've opted out of Jewish organized religion is because 2000 years of written history seem unable to compete with the clusterfuck of guilt we have. WE HAVE A FUCKING STATE RUN BY UBERJEWS AND THERE'S NO MESSIAH. SHUT THE FUCK UP AND STOP SHOOTING EVERYONE.
