Hey there ^^ It's been a while since I've written something, but since my friend kept giving me Akame fics, I couldn't stop myself in writing one :-? I'm not an Akame fan at all, but I have to admit that the guys together look hawt and very interesting to write xD Because of this, I made this one-shot. It has two parts and I hope you'll like it and give an opinion.
Title: A Faraway and Helpless Night
Pairing: Akame
Warnings: None as far I know xD (only that it has 2 parts >.<)
Summary: KAT-TUN continues as a band while Akanishi Jin is having his solo tour in America. Several years have passed after this break-up and everything seems calm now. That until...Kamenashi Kazuya has an accident and Japan is in uproar. What will happen with him and what are the sudden news from America?
A Faraway and Helpless night
Part One
The man I love is faraway from me. I cannot reach him like I did before and I can only watch him from afar. He knows I love him and I know that I’ll be someone precious to him. But sometimes I just want to shout, and so my voice would reach him and…
I don’t know.
Going back to him when he’s doing great with his band would be selfish of me. Asking to forgive me for leaving him is more than unforgivable. But still…he might do it, he has always done so. He has always been the one to forgive even though his scars would run deep. And I’ll always love him for this.
Gone. With one single note, disappeared from my sight somewhere where I can’t reach. I never thought something like this might happen, never even wanted to think of something like this. But still…the reality is hard to not to be seen.
A page from my life was torn apart and, stupidly enough it was the one that truly mattered. Guess I’ll never tell or show this to anyone.
---
One of the most popular bands at the moment, KAT-TUN is having a crisis. The vocal leader, Kamenashi Kazuya was hurt in an accident in one of their concerts. Known for his boldness regarding flying during his performances, the ropes that he was hold with had suddenly broke and he fell from a height above 10 meters. Though there were safety nets, the vocal leader was badly injured and is now residing within Tokyo’s important hospital, having a surgery. Whether he might survive or not, everything depends on him and the doctors.
Meanwhile, across the seas, someone has a similar accident, the only difference being that there was a car and it was crashed by another, causing severe injures to the driving persons. There was going to be another surgery. Whether he might survive or not, everything depends on him and the doctors.
---
“Where am I?”
This was the first question that Kamenashi Kazuya asked. He knew that a few moments ago was in full adrenalin during one of KAT-TUN concerts and the next thing he knew, he was heading full speed towards the floor. He never felt the fear, not even in that precise moment. Neither did he have the time to do so. The sound of fans shouting roared in his ears, his own heart could be heard too…and then, total silence. Just like it was meant to be. He felt his lips curve a little at the thought, but soon the bright light that shone upon him erased that. He still didn’t know where he was.
“Who’s there?” he asked and as in a movie, everything started to build in front of him.
There was the jimusho, there was a van and four people were waving towards him. Kazuya blinked for a couple of times and he could see clearly the wide grins on his members and friends’ faces. They wanted him to go with them and were calling for him. He felt relief fill his heart and stepped forward.
“Don’t go.”
The voice froze him. He didn’t want to turn back, he didn’t want to face the one that haunted his mind too many times to even count. His pride forbade him to even listening to him. He made a second step.
“Don’t go!”
This time, he stopped because of the panic in the voice. Even the mellow and deep tone of it was swallowed by the panic residing in it. Yet, he didn’t turn. Nor he did want. But he had to ask.
“Why?”
Why what? Why should he not step any further? Why he should listen? Or why leaving me at that time? He didn’t know which why…there were too many.
“Because I love you.”
Kazuya closed his eyes and sighed. He felt tired and wanted everything to end. It has been too long since everything started, it has been too many things that made him feel stupid and worried…it simply has been too much. Yet his heart trembled at those words, longed and ached to hear them again. He knew which why was answered. The one that he will never utter.
“And that’s why you left me?”
His question left no choice. How to explain the pain he had to go through doing what he had done? How to explain this to the only one he loved that he had to do it? He could never put this into words as words were only serving him in his songs. And now wasn’t the time to discuss this…it never was.
“Come here.”
That was all he could say, nothing more.
Yet Kazuya never turned and rushed towards his band mates. The panicked yell and distressed sigh after that followed him.
---
In Tokyo, Kamenashi Kazuya was having a fit. His brainwaves were going haywire and his heart beats slowing down. The doctors were in total frantic. The fans were crying over their idol and praying for his safety. Was he going to be well?
---
The surroundings changed once more. Kazuya was confused. What happened with his band mates? Where was the van…the jimusho? He looked back from where the voice had followed him. It was simply blue.
“What am I doing here?”
He asked, turning on the spot and carefully looking at the sight. He was standing in the middle of a beach, the same one that he visited one time in Okinawa. He felt alone and deserted. Why did he have to appear? Why couldn’t get away from everything that meant him?!
“Because we are together in this.”
No more surprises this time, though his heart became frantic once more and he closed shut his stingy eyes. He knew what this meant now - he was having a dream in which he had to face his fears even if it meant eating him whole from inside. He turned to the man that was standing behind him and the sight of him made him want to run. Yet his feet remained rooted in the sand.
“Liar.”
“Both.”
“Only you.”
“Only us.”
“Oh, stop being so sickly romantic!”
Kazuya stated and started walking, waving his hands and muttering to himself. He stopped and glared at the one who suddenly giggled.
“What’s so funny?”
“You are.”
“Ha ha.”
This was being stupid. This couldn’t be reality, yet he was arguing with someone that was overseas, making him to say the words that he wanted to hear. If this wasn’t insanity, then he didn’t know what to call it.
“Don’t be silly, Kazuya. You’re not dreaming. I’m here.”
Oh, yes. He can hear my thoughts. Idiot. Stupid. Jerk. Traitor. Bitch.
“Not bitch, please. That’s your specialty, not mine.”
Insolent brat.
“I’m older than you.”
“Then you’re even more of a brat.” He shouted angry, thrusting his fists into his pockets. “Why are you here?” he suddenly asked, looking wary.
The other man smiled and sadness clouded his dark eyes. Kazuya couldn’t let that slip past him; he got closer to him with worried eyes this time.
“Why forcing a smile?”
“You’re imagining things, Kazuya.” The other one answered, chuckling softly. “You asked why I’m here…well, let’s say it’s our farewell.”
“Farewell?” Kazuya blinked as he didn’t understand those words.
“Yes. The one which we never truly had.”
The smile on his face worried even more Kazuya. How could he be smiling when he was feeling angry and …sad? Kazuya will never say this to him, but he really wanted to erase that sadness from his eyes, his voice, from his mind and heart. If he ever had that thought, that was suppressed by his pride and reason. He couldn’t allow himself to fall prey to something as feelings…
“Well, there’s no need. You had your say in that pretty nice note.” Kazuya replied, brushing him away and heading towards the sea.
“Don’t go there.”
“Why?”
“You’ll get hurt.”
“Oh, please. I’m a better swimmer than you.”
“You still don’t realize where you are?”
This question stopped him. Again he looked around only to found the same scenery as before. But something was wrong. There were no bird songs; there was no sound at all. Only silence and his voice. Suddenly, he felt fear rushing his spine. He stopped feeling fear a long time ago, yet why this was happening now? He wanted to know, but he was afraid to know. Which one was stronger he didn’t know.
“Where are we?”
The answer never came.
---
Back in hospital, the doctors managed to stabilize Kazuya, but he was still being kept on close watch. The KAT-TUN members were waiting outside dead worried for their friend. They never knew that Kame - their Kame - could get badly injured and even be on the verge of death. They wanted him whole and sane once again…
---
Alone on the beach, Kazuya got closer to the sea and seated himself on the sand. He grabbed his knees with his hands and buried his face in his chest.
Again, loneliness swept over him and also the feeling of loss. He didn’t know why, but he felt that he was going to lose something…someone. But he had already done so. What was there more to lose? He didn’t have the answer and this irked him. He hated when he couldn’t control something, he hated when he had to look back just to see his weak self…
He felt the well-known arms surrounding him. The husky voice echoed deep inside him.
“Don’t go there. Just listen to me.”
“Why?”
He whimpered almost involuntarily, because a part of him wanted to be fragile and to act accordingly.
“Just trust me. Just this once.”
“You know I always trusted you.”
The man smiled gently and tightened his embrace. He knew that Kazuya was suffering because of him and he wanted to do something to end that suffering. He wanted to offer comfort, but he might end up in hurting him once more. He brushed his lips through his brown hair, making Kazuya to shiver.
“I want everything to end.”
“I know, I know. But now’s not the time.”
“When?”
“Faraway from this time, Kazuya. Very faraway…”
The singer closed his eyes once more and collapsed in the other man’s arms. He felt weak, he was weak and he needed him.
“Sleep tight, my bitter love.”
---
Overseas, he was fighting for two lives. One was his and the other was his beloved one. He had enough strength for both, yet his vital signs were showing differently. His blood pressure was low and soon, the internal hemorrhage would have caused enough damage to his body.
The ambulance was yet to arrive to the hospital.
