I think they may be destructive, and yet only they are able to understand what the other is going thru and help each other fight their demons. Other can empathize, but to truly understand is something different.

Well, it's not actually trust, but more like giving it a shot. after all, Kazuya doesn't have many too lose except his college, although with Jin in picture, he can easily see where everything will lead in the end :))

It will end well... with some collateral victims to say so :))

I dunno, I still think it's trust. I mean, getting off of the drugs is going to be an unpleasant experience. If he is not successful, he will have suffered through part of that unpleasant process and STILL be on drug. That means, if he's relying on Jin to help save him from himself so that he gets off the drugs, he's trusting that Jin actually can... because, if he can't, Kame will have suffered through part of that process unnecessarily.

So I guess I should say, it is trust in Jin's word that he has both the capabilities and knowledge moreso than trust in Jin generally.

Though, of course, Kame is no stranger to suffering so... the possibility of more suffering without results might not be a consideration into what he's thinking. Which, with that last bit you wrote, seems kind of likely.

At least, that's how it seems to me :) But I try not to argue with authors about their characters because it's just rude LOL So just consider these some idle observations 'cause my mind never really shuts off.

Hmm...the way you put, it does seem like he's laying his faith in Jin, but from my part I never considered it like this XDD

Their relationship is complicated ^^ they're of such nature that every time they want things to work out between them, it will end up in a disaster :))

I don't know what to say about them. I seriously love the way they are around each other,even if I am really sad about them sometimes.

Also, I feel sorry for Ueda :( But with Kame's character, I guess there was no choice.

I feel the need to ask, where exactly is this fic now? Because I keep reading and still can't figure out whether it's in the middle of the plot,if it reaches the end or if it's still in the beginning xD Of course, you don't have to reply if you don't want, I was just extremely curious^^

I get what you're feeling ;)) I'm the same - I love the way they interact, but it pains me to know how wrong they look sometimes :)) As for Ueda... you're right, it was bound to happen ^^

As for your question... I think this would be the middle of the plot XDD (we have 28chapters in total and we're at 16th, so just a little more ^^;)There are a lot of things in their relationship that won't end with a simple "I love you" or "We're lovers from now on" ^^;; They have to fight to have what they want and they have to accept that maybe one won't change for the sake of another. You'll see later that things will degenerate into something...different XDD

Oh, so you already have the ending. That's good^^ And yes, with their characters,it's totally understandable that some things wouldn't end with a simple "I love you" :)
