PART ONE “Thank you.”
Ryo continued to pass through the crowd of people, bowing his head at the ones congratulating him and trying to keep the smile on his lips. As much as he loved making movies and directing them, he also hated parties like this when he was forced to stand people who didn’t give a damn about him and who were there only to make them more famous. He had to admit that he was kind of sick of this world and nothing could have made him happier in that moment than the thought of not having to participate at this kind of events for the rest of his life.
He looked at his right and then at his left, trying to see if there was anyone set on approaching him in that moment. He sighed in relief when he didn’t spot anyone and with a last glance at the people who had gathered there to celebrate the success of his latest movie, he sneaked out of the room and into a small office, hurrying to close the door behind him and leaning on it as he sighed in relief.
“This never seems to end.” Ryo sighed again, detaching himself from the door and going to the little couch in front of it to sit down, twirling the glass of champagne from his hand and taking a sip from it. He then closed his eyes and tried to relax a little, blocking all the sounds from the party that was still continuing outside his room.
The door opened and a brown haired head peeked inside. A smile appeared on the boy’s face as he slipped inside, closing the door with a small thud. “You’re again running from your party, Ryo-san?” Kazuya asked as he got closer to the director that was enjoying himself with a glass of champagne. “And you’re drinking alone.” He added, his eyes twinkling at the half emptied glass.
Ryo lazily opened one eye and looked at his assistant. “Well, I feel better here.” He confessed with a little shrug and closed his eyes again, settling better on the couch. “Sit here with me.” He then invited, patting the spot next to his with his free hand.
Kazuya mumbled an excuse me before he took the place next to Ryo. He had come to enjoy and prefer Ryo’s company more than any other’s person in his life. After Yuuya had died, Ryo had been the one supporting him and Kazuya was willing to do anything for him to see him happy. He had come to care for this man and for what he was. Ryo had given him hope once more and he was eternally grateful for this. “You know you should be going back to them in a few minutes, no?” Kazuya said as he turned to watch his boss, though in his mind Ryo was more than a boss, he was a very close friend. One he cherished so much.
“A few minutes are enough.” Ryo mumbled sleepily, leaning his head on Kazuya’s shoulder and sighing happily. This was all he needed, the director thought as he inhaled the sweet scent of Kazuya’s and bathed into it. If he could have Kazuya like this, it was enough for him to recharge his batteries and to go out at those people again.
Kazuya patted Ryo’s soft and black hair, chuckling to himself. “You’re like a spoiled child.” He chuckled as he enjoyed this silent moment together with Ryo. It eased his mind and soul being like this. And he needed this more than anything.
“Well, I like being spoiled by you.” The director chuckled back, cuddling even more into Kazuya at his words. Silence fell over them for a few moments as they simply stayed there and enjoyed each other’s company.
It had been some hard few months, the movie and the actors for it being more than challenging this time. Ryo had sworn that he won’t ever hire some of them, especially one particular guy who had suddenly decided to quit on the day he had filming and no one to replace him just because he was going at an audition for a bigger part - needless to say that with one phone call from Ryo that guy had managed to seal his fate in this business for ever. Luckily, this had also meant that Ryo was desperate enough to try anything so in a fit of anger, he had ordered Kazuya to replace him.
It had been the best decision of his life.
“Kazuya?” Ryo whispered, the tone of his voice slightly betraying the fact that he was a little scared to have this conversation with the boy. His heart started to beat faster and his head felt dizzy, leaving him in a state he hadn’t been for a long time.
“Hmmm?” Kazuya hummed as a reply to Ryo’s whisper, feeling too good to notice any of the changes at his friend. In fact, he was too pleased with how things were right now to even care if some madman were to enter the room and dance naked in front of them. Well, he was finally settling down after all Jin had stirred up in his life.
Ryo took a deep breath and held his eyes closed as he tried to think at the perfect words to say. He didn’t want to scare Kazuya away, but he couldn’t ignore those feelings anymore. He had been tiptoeing around his assistant for far too long as he didn’t want to continue like this. Almost two and a half years had passed since the day Kazuya had left Japan in a rush, the day that had tied them for eternity when Ryo had heard the whole story and had done some background of his own. Their relationship was great and Ryo didn’t want to destroy it, but he feared that keeping this secret for much longer will lead to that.
At least, he could be honest with the boy.
“Can I ask you something if you promise me to not freak out?” he asked, the uncertainness from his voice increasing and making him seem like a lost child.
At this sudden and weird question, Kazuya moved a bit to be able to look at Ryo closely. His tone kind of worried him as now he was everything that Kazuya clung to and he didn’t want them to fall apart. Ryo was a really important person in his life. “Unless you’re telling me you’re retiring from the directing world, there’s nothing you could say and freak me out.” Kazuya poked Ryo jokingly, feeling that the atmosphere was just a tad too serious.
It was now or ever, Ryo thought. He had to say those words even if this meant that he’ll never speak with Kazuya again. He wasn’t sure if the moment was wrong because they were at a party and there were a lot of people there or if it was perfect because they had both drunk a little and were maybe a little more willing to new things.
Ryo took a deep breath as he prepared himself for the storm that would surely come. “What would you do if I said that…” he stopped and bit his lower lip as he pushed himself up and looked into the boy’s eyes as he continued his question - “If I said that I like you more than an assistant or a friend?” he finally confessed and his small black eyes searched Kazuya’s expression for any kind of answer, ready to say that it had all been a joke.
Kazuya’s brain stopped working upon hearing what Ryo had just said. He blinked a few times, staring at the other one as if he had just grown another head. He opened his mouth to say something, but in the end he closed it back not knowing what to say. Then he looked through the room, as if there was something to help him understand better what Ryo had just said. No, he couldn’t. He was a little tipsy and he was imagining things. No, he couldn’t like Kazuya in that way, could he?
“Hmm… are you sure you’re talking about me and not some hot girl out there?” The younger boy looked at Ryo, biting on his lower lip, showing just how unsettled he was by Ryo’s unexpected confession. No, he wasn’t freaked out… he was just worried. After all, there must be something wrong with him if men around him start falling for him, no?
“Would you be mad if I’m really talking about you?” Ryo asked back, not giving a clear answer and not saying yet if he had really meant his words or it had just been a trick question. He didn’t want to lose Kazuya and his reaction so far… wasn’t that good.
Kazuya chewed more on his lip. “Not mad, but a little surprised.” He replied with a confused expression on his mind. “Well, a little more than surprised.” He then chuckled, a faint blush covering his pale cheeks. “After all, it’s not everyday a man comes up to you and tells you that he might be interested in you as a potential lover, right?” He added and he hoped Ryo wasn’t playing a prank on him - though he kind of wished he was - because it really had his heart jumping out of its track.
“I know and I completely understand if you decide to pretend you’ve never heard this. I won’t stop you.” Ryo continued with an understanding tone. “I’m not forcing you into anything, I just…” he stopped and took a deep breath, standing up and remaining for a couple of minutes with his back at Kazuya. “I just wanted you to know my feelings. Now that you know, I can be myself again.” He added and turning a little to flash a confident smile at his assistant.
Kazuya looked baffled at his boss. What should he do in such a situation? He wasn’t in love with Ryo, he didn’t even think of him as a potential lover… but suddenly this happens. How should he react? “I -” he grabbed Ryo’s hands on impulse as their eyes met again in a more tantalizing stare, Kazuya now standing up as the director was. “You are very important to me. And I care about you…” He continued, gulping a little and seeming very unsure of what he was going to say. “I didn’t expect you to feel this way about me and even if you say I can pretend not hearing anything, you know I won’t.” His voice was soothing and gentle as he was saying this, realizing that he might end up rejecting Ryo. “And… you are not entirely indifferent to me either. I mean, there are moments when I feel this sudden rush in my blood when I see you or this sudden skip of my heart… so, I don’t think you are to me only my boss or friend.” Kazuya ended up saying, totally opposite of what he was expecting to say. “I’m just -”
He didn’t have time to finish his words because he suddenly found himself being pulled towards Ryo and trapped into an embrace as his lips met Ryo’s into a simple and sweet kiss, just their lips touching and their eyes still locked. It didn’t last long because the older one pulled from the kiss after a couple of seconds and looked kind of embarrassed of what he had done, not really meeting Kazuya’s eyes but not letting go of his hand either.
“Look,” Ryo started to say though he had no idea what, trying to control the mad pounding of his heart but not really succeeding it, “you don’t have to say anything right now.” He continued, lifting his eyes to gaze into Kazuya’s brown orbs, the uncertainness being clearer than ever in his fearful eyes. “I know it’s unexpected and I know that the last thing you’d want is a relationship with another man.” he added, hoping that his light reference to Jin won’t make things worse than they already were.
He sighed. “Just… think about it, okay?” Ryo almost pleaded, the grip on Kazuya’s hand tightening a little without him being aware. “Don’t feel pressured because if you say no, nothing will change, I swear. It will be like nothing happened in this room.” He insisted, not wanting Kazuya to make a wrong choice while fearing that he’ll lose his job and Ryo in the same time if he refused.
Maybe he was a fool for trying this again and risking to get hurt for the second time in his life, when he knew perfectly well how bad had his last relationship ended. But Ryo felt that Kazuya really might be the one, he had managed to stir in him feelings long forgotten. It was impossible for the same thing to happen again, so maybe… maybe he could give love a second chance.
If Kazuya was willing to accept him.
“Okay.” The younger actor mumbled, passing his tongue over his freshly kissed lips. He hadn’t expected such a bold action from Ryo, but… he couldn’t say that he was displeased or disgusted by it. After all, this was the man he cared about and cherished the most. No, it hadn’t felt bad at all. Just a bit unexpected, but… Kazuya blushed a little as he looked at Ryo and then leaned to briefly touch the other’s lips with his own. “I… I’d like to give it a try, after all I have to sort out this funny feeling I get sometimes when I’m with you.” Kazuya chuckled shortly as he lowered his head, looking more embarrassed than earlier. Ryo will help him, Ryo will love him for real - this had nothing to do with Jin.
The happiness was obvious as Ryo’s eyes lighted up at the short kiss he had just received. He smiled goofily, still not believing that he had been accepted and that Kazuya really wanted to try this with him. He had been scared that he’ll be rejected and that he won’t see the boy ever again, but he had had to do this and to confess his feelings as it had already been a year since he had discovered them.
He looked at Kazuya and pulled on his hand to bring him closer, not rushing him and letting the boy come to his side. As they were close enough, Ryo raised his other hand and placed it on Kazuya’s waist, still looking into his eyes and letting himself be spellbound by the magic that he saw in them. “Can I kiss you again?” he asked uncertainly, not knowing if this pace was too fast for Kazuya or if he wanted to put a little bit of distance between them before jumping to kissing and making out.
Still, he couldn’t suppress his inner desire to taste those lips again.
Kazuya’s heart beat faster at Ryo’s request and he couldn’t say that he wasn’t feeling quite thrilled by the idea of truly kissing him this time. What kind of feelings were going to assault him the moment him and Ryo would get more intimate, will kiss? He was curious, but he was also kind of unsettled. But he ended up nodding, his cheeks redder than ever as he was glancing up and down from Ryo’s eyes to his lips. Kazuya got a little closer to Ryo, a bit surprised to see that their heights were almost the same. Ryo’s scent filled his nostrils and this sudden closure made him a little unsure and excited in the same time.
A bright smile curled up Ryo’s lips as he tilted his head and pressed his lips against the younger’s for the third time that night. He didn’t step back this time as fast as before, but remained there for a couple of seconds before finally starting to move. He slowly nibbled on Kazuya’s upper lip, sucking on it and pulling on it a little with his teeth. He then proceeded to give the same treatment to the lower one, feeling his whole body shaking with pleasure and need. His hand moved from Kazuya’s waist and settled itself on the boy’s hair, bringing him closer while Ryo playfully licked Kazuya’s lips, asking for permission with a small smile.
The access was granted and Kazuya slowly and hesitantly opened his mouth, letting Ryo’s tongue invade it and search for his own tongue, starting a little battle with it. The younger also tilted his head and deepened the kiss, feeling Ryo’s hand holding his hair in a way that expressed his raw desire even if the kiss was gentle and comforting. It was weird to feel the wild touch of his body and the soft caress of his tongue, but it didn’t surprise Kazuya as he knew that Ryo could be cold on the outside and very hot on the inside. It seemed to fit him and the fact that his kiss was also expressing this part of him made Kazuya feel that Ryo was giving his whole self to him by this simple kiss.
Kazuya pulled back a bit, a soft whimper leaving his lips. He hid his face in the crook of Ryo’s neck, inhaling deeply his scent. He felt embarrassed and his heart was thumping loudly, not to mention that his body sort of felt all weird and hot. Was he falling for Ryo? Could he really love Ryo? He didn’t know, but if he were to read into his body’s reactions, he had all the chances. He could really love someone else than Jin. No, it wasn’t time to think about that jerk. Kazuya slipped his hands around Ryo’s waist, holding him gingerly.
“Ryo…” Kazuya mumbled, his breath warming his new lover’s skin.
“Would it be too much to say how happy you’ve made me this night?” Ryo said with a chuckle, his left hand back on Kazuya’s waist and his right one still clutched into the boy’s hair, patting it and caressing it, playing with the strings of hair and enjoying the soft feeling of it.
Kazuya pulled back a little, looking at Ryo with a flushed face and innocent expression on it. “Really?” He asked with a small and timid voice, as if what Ryo was saying was kind of impossible.
“Really.” The older one confirmed, leaning to peck Kazuya’s lips once more and smiling brightly after, as their eyes locked.
Kazuya smiled back, feeling that the flutters of his heart and the butterflies in his stomach were the start of a beautiful romance. Ryo definitely will make him happy.
He had to.
*
“You got the job.”
Kazuya couldn’t believe his ears when he received this phone call from Ryo telling him that he had been selected to play the main character of his up-coming movie.
“What? Are you sure?!” He asked the director, still in awe from the news.
“No, I’m just making a prank on you.” Ryo said lazily before laughing a bit meanly. “Of course I’m sure, idiot. I’m the director of the movie, I know who are the actors I direct.” He continued and heard Kazuya breath several oh my God, making him chuckle amused.
“I can’t believe it, Ryo!” The now actor said, totally blown by this opportunity, not having expected even in his wildest dreams to be casted in a movie directed by Nishikido Ryo. And even if the director was his lover, he knew that this election hadn’t been influenced by him - after all, the jury had been formed by the producer, co-producer, scenarist and some man whose function he totally forgot right now but couldn’t possibly care. Ryo had nothing to say in this all business.
“You better, because I plan on celebrating you tonight.” Ryo replied amused by his lover’s reaction, wishing for a moment to have been able to say this face to face. Now he could only imagine the sparkling eyes, the slight blush of excitement in his cheeks and the exaltation his lips showed in a big and silly grin.
“Ohh, aren’t you being generous?” Kazuya cooed him, lightly mocking him since Ryo wasn’t the type to do such outrageous things - he preferred a quiet night together, with some good food and wine.
“Shut up.” Ryo growled ashamed and Kazuya laughed. “Don’t make plans no matter who calls you, got that?” He then warned his lover who couldn’t help but laugh some more.
“Yes, I got that covered already. I’m all yours tonight.” Kazuya replied happily and he could feel a slight pause coming from the other side of the phone. His heartbeats increased and he realized that maybe it wasn’t that bad - after all, they have been going out for two months already and… “I mean it.” Kazuya added and he could feel Ryo let out some air through his teeth. “So hurry up.” He chuckled and ended the conversation before the other one could say anything regarding this matter.
Kazuya looked for a few moments at the phone, his heart beating fast upon the words he had just said to Ryo. He wasn’t hurrying, no, he had just done what was normal for a couple in love to do - advance in their relationship. Ryo had proven to Kazuya that he loved and cherished him more than anything and the least Kazuya could do was to return this love physically, if not truly emotionally. Because he was aware that even if he cared deeply about Ryo, it still wasn’t love - at least not that consuming, burning and needy emotion that he had felt with Jin.
He sighed as he went to bathroom, quickly dismissing the thought of Jin, thing which he had been doing in the three years a lot. Yet he wasn’t completely honest either because on the day of Yuuya’s death, he allowed himself to remember everything, to relive the past and weep because of it. On that day, he had still loved Jin, listening to his music together with his brother in his heart - just like they had done to his concerts. It was his only time to be true to himself.
But in the rest of the year, Kazuya had refused to acknowledge his heart’s real desires and had simply dedicated himself to work and Ryo.
The sound of water echoed in his ears as Kazuya decided to take a long bath, feeling shivers and butterflies and the night he was about to have with Ryo. He wanted everything to be special, to make the other one feel important and cherished, like he felt when he was with his lover. Ryo was what he had always imagined him to be - the dedicated, loving and beautiful person that he had come to know over these three years. Kazuya knew that with Ryo by his side, he needed no one else - that was enough.
Just him and Ryo.
A few hours passed, time in which Kazuya leisured himself in the bathroom, taking care of his body and trying to ignore his beating heart. Somehow, he got this weakness in his knees as soon as he got out of the bathroom, making him realize that this night was going to be the first night when he will give himself to another man, other than Jin. His heart wasn’t beating only because of excitement, but also out of fear and rejection - at some point, he had believed Jin will be the only one in his life.
Yet now…
A sigh left his lips and he tried his best to ignore such thoughts. Ryo didn’t deserve him if he was starting to think like that just because of a matter like sex. They were both adults and a physical contact wasn’t that big of a deal and besides, they were lovers. There was no problem at all.
And with thoughts like this, he got dressed, trying to focus only on the fact that he was going to be with a wonderful man like Ryo and that there won’t ever be regrets if such a thing will happen between them. His phone beeped and the message he received made him smile despite himself, somehow easing his inner turmoil - Ryo was waiting for him, Ryo was going to be there for him no matter what.
Without wasting any more time, Kazuya finished whatever he felt like he should do and quickly exited the apartment, heading for the parking lot. As soon as he got at the wheel, he drove away, heading for his lover’s apartment. Oddly enough it didn’t take long until he got there and it was probably because of his fear and nervousness that made time seem like it had flown. Kazuya stopped in front of Ryo’s building and waited for a few moments to calm himself down or at least to get some strength in his shaky legs - God, he was really stupid.
It was just some sex and yet he fussed over this like some virginal girl or something. But it was a big deal in the end, Kazuya was more than aware of this. Because it wasn’t easy for him to be with men and the only one he had accepted was Jin, believing that it was going to be only him for a long while. He didn’t dare to believe in forever now, even if at some point he had. That was why everything now felt like he was going to be giving himself all over again and while he trusted Ryo with all of his soul and he had known him for more than three years already, it was practically impossible for him not to fear to be used just like Jin had done with him.
Yet, he knew that he might be overreacting right now because Ryo had been with him more than wonderful and he was being a fool if he was doing this to him now. So he should better man up and go there and blow Ryo’s mind because that was what he knew that the director would love to feel from Kazuya - after all, the actor had held himself back sometimes. Kazuya took a deep breath and got out of the car, quickly entering the building and going up to his lover’s house. He didn’t know what sort of surprise the other one had prepared for him, but it was definitely worth it. So with a pounding heart, he rang the doorbell and waited for Ryo to get the door.
When it opened, he was met with a smiling and content Ryo who had a glass of red wine in his hand and was swirling it happily. “Welcome.” He greeted his lover with a cheerful voice, waiting until the younger one was inside before pulling on Kazuya’s hand and bringing him close for a kiss, closing his lips around the other one’s and sighing happily as he closed his eyes. “I’ve missed you.” Ryo confessed with a dreamy voice, sounding like he had been waiting all day for this - and he had actually been waiting.
Kazuya chuckled, letting himself be kissed by the other one, loving the warmth that spread in his body. “Me too.” He said with a low voice, taking the glass from his lover’s hand and then grabbing Ryo and dragging him from the hallway. “But I see the wine had kept you company.” He then teased the other one, taking a sip from the drink, wriggling his nose. “Merlot. Good choice.”
“I had a good teacher.” Ryo teased playfully, inviting Kazuya in the living room as he made a slight allusion to the fact that the younger one had been a little obsessed at some point with the type of wine he would be drinking - even if Ryo already had quite a bit of a history in this matter as he had been forced to learn about it since a young age. “I thought that this night should be more about us, so sorry for the cozy atmosphere.” He then added with a light smile, showing the younger one what he had prepared for him.
It wasn’t complicated - he had just set up the table in the living room and had dimmed a little bit the lights to have a little more privacy. The smell of the steak he had made especially for this - as it was his best dish - was coming from the kitchen and you could tell from it that it just needed a few more minutes to be done and then you could enjoy its rich and wonderful taste. The bottle of wine was on the table, put into a bucket with ice to keep it cold while a light music could be heard in the room to make it seem more romantic.
It was quite simple actually - but also quite Ryo.
“It’s perfect.” Kazuya said with a soft voice, leaving the glass on the table before he turned to his lover and locked his arms around his neck. “You’re perfect.” He then whispered and claimed Ryo’s lips tenderly, lovingly, wanting only him to be in his heart and mind tonight. No more shadows of the past.
Ryo answered to the kiss though he ended it shortly as there was still something he had to do in the kitchen. “I don’t know how perfect I am, but I do think I want to try and learn.” He winked playfully, kissing Kazuya’s lips one more time before separating from the younger one. “Now sit and I’ll go bring dinner. This is your night after all.”
Kazuya chuckled as he watched Ryo run to the kitchen, involuntarily another scene from his past coming back into his mind - another man running to the kitchen only to whine out loudly that his food had gotten burnt again. Kazuya shook his head of this unwanted thought as he took a seat to the table and waited for his lover to bring the dinner, surprisingly he felt quite hungry now that he thought of. It didn’t take long for Ryo to return with a plate filled with sliced beef steak, looking all fresh and ready to be eaten. “God, it makes my mouth watery!” He exclaimed appreciatively, his eyes following the food until it was put in his plate by Ryo.
“Then I should cook more often for you if it makes you smile like that.” The older one chuckled a bit, realizing that this was the first time that he was actually making dinner for Kazuya. The lack of time and his schedule hadn’t allowed such a thing to happen and it wasn’t like they had been going out for that long either - even if they were friends now for almost three years and had been practically inseparable all this time.
Kazuya offered Ryo another dazzling smile before he proceeded to eat the delicious food, immediately praising its softness and the way it seemed to melt into his mouth, making appreciative sounds, almost sinful. They ate everything in a comfortable atmosphere, exchanging opinions about the upcoming movie and his role, both of them lost in a world completely theirs. It felt like home between them and Kazuya didn’t want to be anywhere else right now. After an hour or so, they finished eating and were now simply chatting over a glass of wine, holding their hands entwined, sometimes their fingers playing gently.
“Thank you for tonight.” Kazuya suddenly said to the other one, looking into his eyes and wanting him to notice all the emotions he wasn’t good at expressing.
“It was my pleasure.” Ryo replied with a smile on his lips, looking back at Kazuya and reading on his expression everything that he couldn’t hear. He had come to know the younger one maybe a little too well and he could now see in his eyes what he couldn’t say, but what he definitely wanted Ryo to know. He felt his heart skip a beat at the thought that he was the only one who knew Kazuya like this and the only one whom Kazuya trusted this much. It was their little secret how far they had gotten with each other and Ryo was afraid that he would be robbed of this extraordinary feeling that he had every time he was with Kazuya. They were remaining out of time and quickly.
Because in two months, everyone would know about Ryo’s movie and who the mysterious actor was that had taken upon the lead role. In two months, they would be exposed to the whole world and everyone would know the truth - that they had been together for the past three years when his friends had been searching for Kazuya.
In two months, Jin will probably be coming back.
“I’m really proud of you.” Ryo confessed, deciding to put all these thoughts behind him, and concentrated on this night - because this was Kazuya’s night.
Kazuya smiled shyly as he gave a light squeeze to Ryo’s hand. “I won’t disappoint you.” He said solemnly as if he was swearing this in front of God and maybe in his mind, he was because somehow Ryo had been his god, his savior in all the mess that he had been swimming ever since he had met Jin. His serious expression melted in a giddy one as an idea came to his mind. “Dance with me.” He stood up, never letting go of Ryo’s hand.
“We could have gone to the club or something like that if you wanted to dance.” Ryo teased with a light grin even as he stood up and went to Kazuya’s side, circling his waist with his hands and pulling him closer. He knew that neither of them wanted that because they both enjoyed the warm and cozy atmosphere between them and the fact that they could do anything they wanted to because no one could see them.
Because no one could judge them.
He needed to force himself to push back the words that Kazuya had said on the phone.
The younger one circled Ryo’s neck as he chuckled lowly. “Neah, I want to keep your sloppy dance just for my eyes solely.” He said with a taunt as he moved slowly against Ryo, according to the slow music in the background. He looked at his lover with sparkling eyes, hidden desires and fears behind that dark brown.
“Hmm…” Ryo said with a low voice, getting a bit closer to Kazuya and nuzzling his nose into the crook of the other one’s neck, inhaling happily the scent that he had come to love so much. “I didn’t expect you to be this possessive.” He chuckled, his breath sending hot puffs over the younger one’s skin.
Kazuya shivered in his lover’s arms. “I’m very possessive actually. Just give me a reason and I’ll show you how cute you’d look all cuffed to my bed, never to go out again without me.” He said with a teasing tone, playing with Ryo’s hair, arching in his arms as his lover pressed a soft kiss over his neck.
Ryo laughed lowly. “You don’t want to send that type of images to my brain.” He warned, putting a little distance between them as he didn’t want to force Kazuya and he didn’t want the younger one to think that he was obliged to do something for his lover because he had pushed him into taking this role.
“Why not?” Kazuya teased some more and got closer to Ryo again, not having liked the way the man had pulled away from him. “You’re not interested?” He tilted his head and looked curiously at the other one. Okay, he might be pushing his luck right now, but he really wanted to make Ryo feel good with him…
Ryo licked his lips and let his eyes travel over Kazuya’s face, from his eyes to his lips and then back to his eyes as he seemed to try and decide what to say. “I don’t want you to force yourself.” He admitted, thinking that it wasn’t actually that long since they were together and he couldn’t get rid of the thought that Kazuya still wanted to be with Jin and still thought of him. “You know I love you and I can wait as much as you want me to.” Ryo added with a gentle expression, pushing back a few strands of hair under Kazuya’s ear and smiling at him in an understanding way.
Kazuya looked at Ryo with a surprised expression, this not being what he expected. He smiled at his lover and brought his hands to cup his cheeks before he leaned in to kiss his lips. “Let’s give it a try.” He whispered and his eyes showed that he wanted this, even if he felt sort of afraid. “Make love with me, Ryo.” He then said, his fingers trailing now on the other one’s cheek and touching his lips with a slight tremble to them. Ryo deserved the best and he had to be honest - he won’t hide under a bravado, he’ll share his fears with the other one as well.
“Are you sure?” Ryo still felt the need to ask, his eyes showing the desire that sparked in him and the fact that he wanted this more than anything else being betrayed by the way his hands tightened on the younger one’s shirt, bringing him close and kissing him again, gently, slowly, madly. “God, you’re driving me crazy.” He confessed, feeling how his heart was beating so fast that he was afraid the younger one might hear it. But it didn’t matter - nothing did at this point, nothing but them.
A chuckle was heard in their kiss and Kazuya also tightened his hold on the other one, gluing his body against Ryo’s. “Take me to bedroom.” He asked of the other one, nibbling on his lover’s lips, sucking slowly on the lower one.
This was the night… the night when he’ll give himself to another man.
