I've been sending some of the higher seats on reconnaissance to assist the usual living world-stationed shinigami, but they haven't had much luck. Either those things are very slippy, or they're on the move. I'm not sure which I prefer.

I can clear you for officer-level access, though. That's more of a technicality at this point.

In any case, it's bad, as per usual. I just find myself in the unenviable situation of having a lot of family in the living world, so I was a bit antsy 'bout that, especially after Kon was panicking about them on the kounisshimou.

I figure I just wanted to see if I could find any kind of clue to what was happening. It's again somethin' that's on the rise. I've learned to be really damn suspicious of any... new weirdness. Too much of that in our lives.

Of course. Between Kon and your father, I'm not too worried about your sisters, but feel free to pass along any information you think they could use--assuming he hasn't already found it on his own.

I don't think I even remember what normal is.

I'm not about to charge in for some big rescue attempt, no. I just wanted to see if we had any more specific intel on them at this point. There's something about a Garganta opening near one in one of the reports? Any further thoughts?

I think we left that behind years ago.

I saw some reports about 'em, but nothing was really conclusive. Not a lot of folks have run into them. I did hear about a few officers not coming back from their missions, though...s'a bit unsettling, that's for sure. Whatever they are, they don't seem too friendly.
