Crowley/Cas interactions are a severe guilty pleasure of mine(along with Castiel/Balthazar and Castiel/pretty much any other hot male on the show) and you couldn't have made it more delicious with him pretty much licking his lips at the sight of Cas the entire time.
For a moment there, I thought this was going to be a an amnesia!fic what with Crowley showing up, seeming to know Cas and commenting he changed. It would have made the Winchester's treatment of him all the more cold so I'm glad it's not the case. I think.
I'm really curious about what plans Crowley has for Cas and the boys' reaction to rescuing the poor guy yet again.

Things will be revealed as the story continues, but I do have to say that I could never see either of the Winchesters acting coldly to the Castiel they know.
It is getting rather juicy, isn't it?

True, he isn't! Revenge on Castiel isn't quite the agenda he had planed, however. The links to canon in this fic are thin at best.
I think that after having our humanity ripped away from you the relief of finding it intact will always have weight.

Yeah, I really did like how you lent that line the extra something by having it stand out so starkly, and going back and re-reading it, like you say so full of relief too, and sort of an unspoken "Thank God" and kind of that he can relax for a split second in that relief at finding himself not 'other' before the rest of the situation kicks back in. Sorry, as I said, I initially got carried away, so I definately read more into that line than was intended.
