I confess. I only started reading this so that I could say "ICON!!!" and not feel evil for not reading the fic.

But I quite like this story. It's very suspenseful, since you start reading with no idea what's going on, and then you're only fed little bits and pieces, much as the Doctor is dispensing information. I'm literally on the edge of my seat wanting to find out what's going on and what's going to happen. Yay!

oh, dark places, dark times. Compelling story, especially the visitor scene with Rose. *cries*

(you need a few grammar-y fixes: They pretending not to be paying him much attention, in part one, Rose and Jackie and Mickey any good if he did; in the first paragraph of part 2)
