no doubt hey cammy, i mean it's so hard to be like yeah I have a problem, even harder to be like ok lets do someting about it, and then to be made to feel like more shit by the very people who should get the shit your going through is so nasty.

totally; i have a bad name among much of the security staff at my work - mostly for yelling at this one guy who was unnecessarily roughing a patron up. fortunately, the head of security is rather awesome, and has put her whole staff through 'sensitivity' training in the meantime.

trying to talk about trans stuff with my 72 year-old coworker, and trying to explain why it's not appropriate to ridicule people who are transitioning was super tense and didn't go nearly as well, however.

do you work monday night? do you have preexisting plans?

chris g! man that is so great, i was so nervous after reading the first few sentences that it would be a blow out as well but it's so comforting to know that there are people with there shit together that know what needs to happen and that there are other people who can see it all through to work out. i'm so pumped to spend some time with you and hear more about how you are doing but also very happy to see that livejournal is back in your life.

so freakin' great the MSP staff stepped it up a notch. And so good that the trans ladies have an advocate in you. Makes me happy to know that the women in the neighbourhood can go places and find people who respect and support them. Thanks for being so good and steppin' up when you need to. And what a pleasent surprise to find other folks are on board too!
