Snow day today. I did almost nothing, hung out on the couch with Matt and the cats and dogs, later took a nap. I opened up the carpet tiles I ordered a while back, and it turns out, they're pretty ugly, but I stuck them to the floor around the bed anyway. It's a whiff of call center chic for the home. Should've just gotten rugs like normal people

I did carpet tiles in Sophia's room and I love them but, it did take them a bit to grow on me. I ordered mismatched tiles so that I could make my own pattern, they are so easy to install, I'd probably use them again.

Mine are purposely mismatched, too, and they have grown on me, but if I do them again I may get another kind. We're so tardy on so many house details, but I figure it's either now or a whole lot later on most of this stuff.
