They're meant for eating, or cooking. Try the larger ones that are yellow with a pink blush. You can't really smell the flavor outside the skin.

[[And I'd use the apple name as well, if I remembered it. ^^; I just remember getting them in Virginia and that orchard has way too many types to look up. They're easily more than half the size of someone's face, crisp, and more sweet than tart.]]

I can smell them just fine.

If food is all they're good for, then they're still of no use to me.

How useful the trees are depends on how much you need to breathe. That fruit is your way of growing more.
