so i assume the casita worked well for your mommies visit? it looks so cute! i saw a card about 20 love songs this morning at brazil and was going to ask you if it was worth seeing. if i can't find anyone to go with me will you? i told you your bland diet was going to shrink you! i told you so! maybe if i'm bored this weekend i will start measuring your house to put the 'as-builts' (as we say in the industry) into cad. leave the survey out for me so i can remember to contact them for a cad copy. yay!
the casita was great for the visit. they loved it. plus my sister and her husband and their kid (4yo) stayed a few weekends ago as well and they loved it too.
i think it's great. it allows people to feel like they're not intruding on your space and that they have their own.
it's worked out pretty cool!
i'm in the middle of making a list for before the trip and i'll add the survey as well so i won't forget.
I KNOW!!!! i was talking to mitch about you the other day... we should get together sometime! also, i need you to post more pics of turtles (your turtle to be specific)! i want to see a photo of him as a baby next to a photo of him presently.
Soupie lives on a 2-acre tortoise ranch in Daytona Beach now. He went to live there in October because he grew at a really alarming rate and outgrew my parent's backyard and couldn't fit anywhere inside during the winter (and his poos were dog-sized poos). It's sort of depressing, but I think he's having a lot more fun with all the room he has now and prolly has a cute tortoise gf. I have some photos of him right before he moved, though.
OMG!!!! Soupie! That is sad, but it's also GREAT! He's living the life other tortoise's could only dream of!!! It's a testament to how well you and your parents raised him that he outgrew his former habitat... that is so wonderful!
