Dearest Owen,
For decades now, I've passed the nights with nary a thought to their passing itself. Since I've met you, I now feel the passage of time so much more acutely. When we are apart, the nights are long and eternal. When you are near, time passes much too quickly.
The world is a much brighter place, since having met you. I feel like I've been asleep and have woken. You've woken my heart as well.
Your friendship means everything to me. A chance to sit by your side, is a gift more precious than the finest jewels.
I never thought I'd feel things so deeply again, but you inspire me to greater heights daily.
