What's New with figmom?
have a new "career" as the Campus Life Representative of Sycamore Square which is the Independent Living apt. complex I live in here at Baptist Retirement Village in Owasso, Ok. (just 20 miles from Tulsa.) I was elected which would have been very cool but I was the only one running! I am excited about all of the things I have in mind for us all ( Read more... ) -

A Broken Leg Heard from in Tulsa

The Shot Worked! & It's Hump Day in Tulsa!
Thanks to all of you who sent prayers & hugs for my appt. with the pain mgmnt. doctor on Tues. It went very well. I wish I could keep the initial feeling when all of the lidocaine ( deadening agent) is still in & there is NO Pain. But it is still so much better. I think I will live. The dr. was so cool. Yo, Adrian! I have been celebrating National Chocolate Day by eating some cha--cha--chocolate & watching a Rocky marathon all day. What else is there? And of course it's Sat. & tonite OU is on tv. I know lots of you are at the con. today so have a great time for me too.

kudos to tishalook for the awesome pic of the leaves! It started out raining here in T-Town today but is starting to clear off which is fine with me b/c it is a little difficult using a stupid walker to go to the car when it's pouring down.
