I can no longer update the LJ version of my rec archive.
For reasons I do not understand, I can no longer post to LJ with Semagic. Until recently, I was able to use Semagic to post my recs in three places almost at once: first to

I, too, have a soft spot for LJ, as I first discovered it in 2006 and was gleefully sucked into SG-1 fandom. But the fandom is mostly gone from LJ now - what little is left seems to be only on DW, these days. I have stargate_search watched - that's how I found you!
So I do hope you wander over to DW, even via OpenID. Better than nothing, says I.
This is where I became a part of numerous fandoms, and even tried my hand at some iconmaking. I've since moved on to tumblr, but my tumblr blog hasn't been active in more than year. Erk.

About DW, who knows...I might stroll by one of these days. Oh, I might go a bit quiet in the next few weeks. It's not because I'm avoiding LJ or DW - it's because of RL stuff. I'll be caught in the thick of things in the coming weeks.
I'll still respond to emails, though. So, please feel free, especially if you want to read any old fics that are archived on sites you aren't able to access.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and take a guess. I'm one of the fans you mentioned.
I'm sorry you're facing issues with Semagic - could it be a bug? You could have it reported.
I'll be glad to move over to DW, if you're not going to be as active here on LJ as you used to be. I could use OpenID.
I do have to admit, I have a soft spot for LJ. I've been here for nearly 14 years. Heh. It's grown on me.
Thanks for letting me know, fig, appreciate it :)
Cheers.
