amusing xmasy quotes

I found these when googling for quotes to write in my homemade cards:

I'd say put it in there, if you could make a witty graphic to go with it....Although my sense of wit is bad enough.

I did wind up putting it in there, but I did it on the left side of the inside of the card, and put a traditional "wishing you a merry christmas and happy new year" on the right side.

I hand wrote everything last year, and it was a pain to do, since my handwriting is normally so sloppy and I wanted them to be legible.
This year, I was trying to figure out what to do when I remembered that I collect typewriters, duh! That doesn't seem like something you'd forget, does it? I might need more sleep.

Half the time I forget what crafty goodies I've got sitting around, too. Usually this means they've been sitting for some time and are overdue for a new project - Typewriters are awesome, though. Some of my best memories are from when I was reeeeeally little and my mom, who was working for a local paper, would be banging away on the keys late into the night. Computer keyboards don't make the same distinctive noise, and that makes me sad. It's one of the few noises that can lull me into a peaceful sleep.
