um...i say cymbal line. not that i have any knowledge of anything band related, but it just seems like more fun. i don't know. just a thought.

and the friend thing...been there, done that. and it isn't awkward, it's AWKWARD. it deserves all uppercase in my opinion.

Try out for section leader. I think you're too pleasant of a person to be in the drumline. Plus, I think the saxophone section will really need you next year. I think you would make an awesome section leader because you can be serious and strict but still really fun at the same time. You have the kind of a charisma that will make people listen to you without you having to be one of those yelling bitchy section leader types.

Yeah that's one the thing I'm worried about, I don't want the sax section to suck, and I know people that are trying out and it scares me :/
