I haven't done a political style post in some time and I'm sure everyone out there was really depressed about that. Well, I finally got something to talk about and it's along familiar lines.

Fuck House Cable is about right... rates went up again! Ugh... I'm going to go insane with the cable bill for our house. We might switch to satellite at some point. Brighthouse controls the market for cable out here, unlike in Tampa Bay, where they have competition and are forced to keep rates lower.

I'll admit, I'm not a fan of Social Security. I know it's been great for my parents and grandparents since that was their type of retirement savings system, but I believe in a thing called saving up, building a "nest egg", 401k's, etc, etc. I hope to have one well enough built up so that if social security still exists, I'll use that money for something stupid.

I'll admit, the democratic party is currently in a bind. The party did a lot of damage by having John Kerry as their top runner for 2004, hopefully 2008 will run better.
