Perhaps you could let him know that you felt you were rash in your judgement of his processes and upon closer examination, while you feel that they won't work for you or your family, can see where some people would find merit in them. You sincerely apologize for any offense taken and would hope that he would be able to forgive you, as forgiveness is a key element to the solution of most problems.

P.S. Personally I think I'm becoming a very good bullshit artist. :)
