[Updates] Because It's Easier than Listing Topics

I'm beginning to think I might have been too generous to the SyFy version of "Being Human." I read that the writers planned on taking things in a different direction and giving it more of a branching storyline while keeping some of the ideas and themes the same.

tv, tv: off the map, tv: the cape, tv: castle, tv: being human

Re: The Cape's hero being a normal guy....

That's what completely turned me off. I was interested to hear about another new superhero show, The Cape. Then I saw a preview, and discovered that our hero's "powers" consisted of being athletic and having a prehensile* cape. No actual superpowers, just physical training and circus tricks.

...no. Sorry. Batman is cool and all, but...I'm not interested in superheroes who don't have Powers And Abilities Far Beyond Those of Mortal Man (tm).

Castle, on the other hand, totally rocks. "We should have a password so when the clone army attacks, we know which Beckett to shoot."

*Okay, prehensile may be a misnomer. Apparently he can use the cape to snatch weapons out of bad guys' hands. Yeah...I don't think so.

"It's all a little too meta."

Castle does rock. I really only started watching it because I was going fan girl for Nathan Fillion, but I'm so glad I tuned in that first time!
