So I've been doing this little test.
I bought this awesome fruit bowl at T.J. Maxx, it's mahogany and about 7" wide.
Anyway, so I bought it about 2 months ago, and kept fruit in it (duh). But whenever I run out of fruit, my roommate always puts it in the cupboard.
It's a pretty bowl that kinda doubles as a decoration if you ask me.
But yeah, I would like to leave it out. Not to mention she has a bunch of stuff sitting on the counter that has no functional purpose.
So, sometimes I purposely leave it out to kinda test whether or not she moves it. And every single time I put it out, a few hours later it ends up back in the cupboard.
So today, as a means of being subtle and non-confrontational (that's the way I like it), I put away her two bottles of decorative vinegar in the same place she puts my fruit bowl.
I'm kind of curious to what the result might be. Maybe she'll stop putting away my shit. Otherwise, I'm going to have to go out of my comfort zone and talk to her about it directly.
In other news, today and this weekend were gorgeous. I couldn't have asked for better weather to come home. As always, the weekend was too short to do much. But I hung out with Jason and got play his wii ^^. I really dig the wii bowling, wish I could bowl as well as I did in the game in irl. :P (my highest game was 211 o.O) Aand I got to bake pies with my mom and play with my dog. Twas good stuff.
Oh and today, we officially scrapped our experiment for plant biology. We hadn't been seeing any sign of a crown gall (and it really should've shown something by now...it's been a month), and so our experiment of seeing whether beta carotene had a positive effect on reducing the gall was not applicable. So we threw out all our plants today, well minus a few that my partners and I took home (so I now have a healthy tomato sitting in my living room ^_^). But yeah, our professor told us that since we didn't see anything that we should've, that we should just basically fabricate our results section of our experiment writeup (that's my job btw...how fun).
I guess that's about it for now. I've already made this entry too long, so bai bai!
