Seriously. Although it is funny that the association of tie-in novel writers explicitly don't allow fanfiction. I mean, in one sense, that's fair, since I think you have to be published and paid to be eligible for SFA. But, you know, um. Yeah.

But paid by whom?

I wrote Wotan's Day for a $100 pledge to Sweet Charity. Would that count?

Also, writing to someone else's specs... I would have to be so subversive in that context, just to keep myself happy. I wonder if I could get away with it?
