not disaster, not pointless... you can look back on those and think of the places and moments and people that made you (and others) the happiest, and think about today, as you know that years from now looking back on your experieces now, you will have that same meloncholy feeling, but also knowing that your life has been pretty damn cool.

my mom came to visit last week, and brought me some more of my stuff from michigan, including a giant shoebox of pictures...
it's so strange that something so simple can make you so happy and completely depressed, all at the same time
