Sore throat since Saturday. Fever, earache. Tired. Hardly slept last night. Left work at 1.30 yesterday. Must get to the doctor today, but when I called before they wouldn't let me book - I have to telephone at 8am sharp. Talking is almost as fun as swallowing. Over the counter drugs are doing sod all, though ibuprofen's some help.

We don't have any :-( ... I've been gargling with salt water, which is fairly soothing, and incidentally kills many things. Now have a Dr's appointment at 0910, so we'll see what that turns up. Thanks for the tip though!
