my arabic, which is progressing slowly, is a great source of entertainment for my family. my cousins like to make fun of my accent, and my uncle remembers phrases I've cobbled together and repeats them back to me whenever he's in a teasing mood ( Read more... )

When you were a tiny baby we found a prosthetic shoe store in Philly and tried to get the mold to make of Uncle Miloud's feet so we could get him formed shoes; I don't remember if we couldn't get the mold, or forgot it, but we never made the shoes. They probably do all of that in Algeria now. Please give him love and hugs.
