Duckon

It's been a while since I last posted an update, and this one isn't very interesting.
In two week (the weekend of June 9-11), I'll be at Duckon. If anyone (non-smoking) is interested in a room-share, please let me know.
On Sunday at 1:00PM, I'll have an hour long concert set (replacing Eric Coleman on the schedule). This would normally not be a ( Read more... )

I love hearing you do Caledonia, so I'd say that's my suggestion for the set.

Have a marvelous time!

I like all of your songs that I know, but of the things I've heard you do solo, I particularly like

A Thousand Songs
Walkin' Away from Caroline
Monster inMy Head
When I Go
Me and Jenny

(I also adore Solar Flare and Touch-Tone Lullaby; I don't remember Winter when She Goes, The Ballad of Dr. Freud, and Red.)

And since the audience might not let you off the stage if you don't do Close Your Eyes, probably that's a factor you should consider. *grin* (Wulf did it at halftime at the Marcon masquerade, incidentally, and it brought down the house - people loved it.)

And Close Your Eyes was played during an open filk where a naive listener about fell off his chair. It was such a trip watching his face!!!

Hi Daniel
I'd like to record "Close your eyes". Tony Fabris was the evil person who first exposed me to it and I'm hooked. I am FORCED to sing it every night to my 2 little lovebugs (8 yo and 12 yo boys) who live in our home.

Seriously, I'm in the process of recording my first CD and have layed my scratch track for this. I don't want to go any further until I've confirmed with you.

Hello, Juliana!

I don't object. Let me know how it works out.

One of these days, I'll record it myself, but I don't mind others recording it. Have fun with it.

Daniel
