Despite the threats of being abducted by aliens along with drawing the gaze of the evil eye and, it seems, without apology, a large enough portion of the Pegasus voting community chose to give their votes to "Close Your Eyes" that it won in the category of "Best Comedy". Congratulations! It's a great song. I've sung it for my godlessdaughter, who giggles and thinks it's way cool (and wants to get out of bed to dance to it. I probably should have waited until she was old enough to understand the lyrics *g*)

Juanita Coulson did a great performance of it at the Pegasus nominees' concert. There were a few people in the audience for whom it was the first time they'd heard it. Suitably scared :)

I love this song; I voted for it... and I have a standing policy that anyone who sings it in the presence of my children has just volunteered for the next five years of midnight nightmare-watch duty. :)
