The link above is broken. Good show, I suspect it will make the Hugo ballot, but I am not sure if it will win.

It wouldn't surprise me if both this and the prequel (the short Night of the Doctor) were nominated, and it would surprise me if, given two nominations, at least one didn't win. They're both quite good.

Different categories, but yes. A key thing to the Doctor's advantage for 2014, the Worldcon is in London.

Nope, same category. Day of the Doctor is 80 minutes, so it's still Short Form.

[I'M ASSUMING SPOILERS ARE OKAY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.]

I watched it twice. I enjoyed it more the second time (but I still didn't like the scenes with Queen Elizabeth I, and I think the actress was miscast in that role). I enjoyed the return of Bad Wolf, the fez as comic relief, and the Doctors interacting with each other. ("They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do, assemble a cabinet at them?")

I was glad the Brigadier's daughter was in the episode, since the Brigadier himself couldn't be. I really like Osgood. It would be lovely if she showed up in a future episode, though that seems unlikely.

I love the scene with The Curator.
"I never forget a face."
"You may find yourself revisiting a few, or an old favorite." Hmmmm...

I remember in one of the trailers the scene where Tennant and Smith are essentially comparing the size of their sonic screwdrivers -- and laughing my head off at all the Freudian implications therein.

Ten actually said something about "compensating".

It was so nice to see my Doctor again. I heard that voice and could barely sit still

I am looking forward to getting to watch it when Space re-shows it - oh wait, they are refusing to do so, filling the next fifteen hours with repeats of all the Doctor Revisited drek they've been showing to build anticipation for the past three months. But repeat the actual program, so people who work might get the chance to see it? Nooo, that would be crazy...

In many ways the episode can be summed up by three lines of dialogue:

“Geronimo!”

“Allons-y!”

“Oh for god’s sake…“

There was quite a lot to like, from the Brig's daughter to the homages to the original Doctors. Not perfect, but what is?

If you haven't seen it, I strongly recommend going to watch The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot, with Peter Davison and a host of others. Half an hour or so of laughs for any Who fan (or at least any who knows stuff outside the last three Doctors).

Ah! I was just going to post a link to "The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot". It was great fun. (With bonus John Barrowman!)

It was the non-DW star-quality guests that blew me away (not for their roles, just for their appearances). Also, too, those WERE Hugo Awards on the ledge (or was that windowsill) in the editing scene, right? (The BAFTAs were front and center; the Hugos, not so much.)

I'm guessing Peter Jackson and Ian McKellen (who immediately come to mind) thought it was great fun.
