For the most part, the forecasted Icepocalypse did not take place, at least not in Southeastern Michigan. A few places got a few inches of snow, there's a bit of a glaze of ice, but 'tain't nothin' like what they warned us about. Doing pretty good. :) Going to play some Diablo 3 in a minute to level my Barbarian a bit, or I might just work on getting my Witch Doctor through Nightmare difficulty. Later this evening I'm gaming with some friends, going to make a Magus since they're one of my favorite classes.

I canceled my party last night. The weather ended up hitting late so I could have gone ahead. Instead it was Lizzie and my kids and myself, so it worked out pretty darn good.

Today, we are feeding kids and then sending them back over to their Mom's, where they will be for most of the break.

Today Lizzie and I will hang out, watch movies and make music. So ... pretty darn good.

The rain we've had the past two days has done quite a nice a nice job of getting rid of the snow that we got about a couple of weeks ago.

Drove back to Illinois from a solstice party in Wisconsin at 4 am because the furnace at home was having issues. Took me about two hours to get home as nothing really had been plowed and I drive an ancient Dodge Neon with fwd.

And now we're trying to find a place that has a furnace pressure switch on a Sunday. Thankfully the fans in the furnace still work and we have a fireplace. That will keep things from freezing.
