you pack only your best clothes and things you don't think you'll be able to buy in yr new country ;)
seriously the two suitcase limit (imposed on my by my airline and most airlines) is a bitch :| not to mention the weight restriction on each suitcase!!!

i gotta start packing too! i leave on september 2.
i wrote a list but it keeps getting longer. i realised a canopener and a fork/spoon/knife would be useful. since you cant cook in hotel rooms, ill have to eat cold things out of cans. toothbrush, socks, mini washing line thing for drying underwear on, a diary, earplugs?, immodium, tampons, etc etc.
i agree with the person above- im taking my newest nicest clothes!

i leave in three days! Haven't started packing yet, I'm going to do it all i one day on wednesday, it's going to be crazy. Do you know where you are living yet? I'm staying near Bethnal Green for two weeks, then I might have found a place in Stoke Newington which looks great, so I hope its still available. How are you going though? Excited to leave Australia? I'm a tiny bit sad which is strange I'm just going to miss being so comfortable.

three days!!! how exciting!
I am staying in a youth hostel until I find a place... I'm thinking maybe I'll try and get a place around Dalston... even though it's a bit rougher then say Camden or whatevsss. it's kind of an artish, bohemian suburb.

I'm not excited as such but I certainly can't wait to go.

I can't decide wether to take my laptop or not?! I guess I should.
I lost the cord to my ipod so now i'm stuck with trash music I don't want to listen to. its somewhere in my house. I hope it resurfaces soon.
