[PSA] Possible Canon-update heads up?

So uh, I'm considering canon-updating Kon! But due to the nature of Amatsuki it's a little.... confusing how to make this happen...

( Ideas. Also lol spoilers lol amnesia. )

Either way, Fuuma will still drape on him. ♥ And I think you could do the first one, and have his memories slowly come back, if you dot want to completely sacrifice all of his cr?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Kuchiha gets all her pre-canon!reset memories back before STUFF happened, and faced with overwhelming evidence of his memories being fudged with, Kon can at least deal... And I intend to give him back his memories EVENTUALLY anyway, so...

There haven't been too many scanslations after that I think, but the text translations are pretty much caught up except the latest chapter.

If you want to do the full reset and then Kon starts suspecting someone fugged his memories up, there are characters in camp that can fix that.

Fon would maybe drag Kon to the Doctor, also Muraki can fix memory blocks.

I'm mmmooostly sure that Kon will get his real memories back, but.. \o/ YAH. Basically my plan is to just... play it like a reset, and like... slowly give him back camp memories maybe....

And... he will just be sort of confused in the head and slightly off... until he stabilizes in camp, or canon gives me a better point to update to.

It works for him because canon already shows that like... in his rewritten memories he thought he never put his hair up before, but when he gets injured and they pull his hair out of the way he's all "why does this feel familiar 8|" so... I'm just going to assume that means if he's reminded of what he used to know it sort of connects again. Which will be sort of crazy for him, trying to figure out what's real and what isn't \o/

I would do it! . . . But make it a temporary one, because lol your canon. I mean, either camp, having him get reverted back to his last save point, or what everyone else said above. So, he'll be updated, but he won't be perm-reset.

Well, I've done it temporarily for like... amnesia week or whenever that was, but I don't want to just play with it a week and then do away with it, since it's built into the canon anyway and Kon spends over a third of the total chapters with amnesia now.

Luckily it seems like it's something that doesn't really take complete hold of everyone and there are lingering pieces of real memories in there which can get triggered. And since he'll be in camp there'll be more triggers! It'll just make him feel kind of crazy for a while...

And probably the effects won't go away entirely for a long time...

Well, in this case, temporary would be like a month! Or three months! Or whenever you get tired of it!

But I get what you mean. Frankly, I see no problem with playing with it. Amnesia is fun to fool around with, especially when it's canon.

sob magic virtual reality amnesia \o/ IT WILL PROBABLY BE SORT OF OTL INDUCING IN EVERYONE HE KNOWS BUT he'll... remember eventually. SOMEDAY. I do believe he'll get his memories back \o/ and so that's what I'll be working towards if I do this.
