Beatles and LOVE and Vegas, oh my!

Despite the fact that a couple of weekends ago I spent an awesome day and a half or so in Las Vegas, I just hadn't had the urge to write about it. But now I'm in the mood to, I suppose. The whole thing started months ago actually, when I heard somewhere that Cirque du Soleil was creating a new show with Beatles music. Naturally I was intrigued,

OMG! You saw LOVE?! *jealousy vibes radiating* I love Cirque du Soleil with all my heart *sigh* and the Beatles too. Can't go wrong, really.

Wish I had cool costumes when I ushered for Quidam >:(, but I suppose black with a Cirque logo wasn't all that bad. But still... wow... I'm glad you had a good time. The lobby looks fantastic... Cirque du Soleil never fails to astound and amaze me.

It's seriously so amazing. I want to take everyone I know and see it again and again. Haha. Really though, it's just great. It's really evocative and emotional (and I even almost cried in a few bits, but shhh, don't tell anyone that! Hehe.) and just outstanding. The lobby really is awesome to look at, and they always have Beatles music playing in that section of the hotel! When you're walking into the lobby, just off to the right at the end of that walk way is the boutique, and it's filled with all this amazing Beatles merchandise. I seriously wanted to buy everything in the store. But since I obvioiusly am not that rich I settled for a cool A Hard Day's Night t-shirt and an awesome boxed set of postcards. Hehe.

And I forgot one of the funniest parts - the ushers were all speaking in faux-British accents. Hahaha. Some of them were passable, but mostly it was just fun to laugh at the strange sounding results.
