W TF x 1 million!

Tell me it isnn't true! Another childhood favorite is about to be cruelly mistreated. Or am I just over-reacting? I ADORED these books and I'm dreading to see what's been done to it. But like a car wreck or Britney Spears, I'm unable to look away.

I don't think you are overreacting. Why are the movie remakes of some childhood classics so utterly.....bad???? Another example of such terrible film interpretations is the new movie version of Nancy Drew: it is so bad it is absolute blasphemy. It's so completely reductionist and utterly stupid it almost defies imagination. Nancy Drew was clever, independent and didn't make fashion her only priority; will people really pay $10 a ticket for their children to see a version that isn't true to the one they knew growing up?

I don't know anything about the books, but I saw the movie trailer, and the movie looks pretty lame. At least if you can't keep yourself from seeing it, you're already used to crying at movies...

I guess I better hope that they never make movies of Nothing Ever Happens on My Block or Harry the Dirty Dog or The Adventures of Homer Fink.

Ive done something tacky & shallow , joined this site just so filleardente will know her photo(greenturtleneck) made my chest and breathing tighten up, this has not happened many times in my life.
The only other website Ive ever belonged to is Yahoo finance. While researching a company I found a link to fillerdentes photo
My lack of IT skills may make it difficult returning to this website so

fillerdente this may happen to you often so I am sorry in advance. I know this was very tacky over a photo but my motives were harmless, hope this does not screwup peoples journals.
Ps I just realized you look similar to my Sis in San Clemente Ca. That may make this weird now, ohwell.
over&out, Craig
