I have no new characters this app period. But I have GIFs for . . . a couple of my PBs. So there.

PB: Samantha Barks
Status: Townie
Age: 18
Hair: Dark brown, longish but pretty ragged because it hasn't been properly cared for in years, so it's a mess of split ends and tangles
Eyes: Brown
* Hails from Paris, France, in 1832.
* Lives (currently, anyway) in one of the warehouses in the abandoned warehouse district.
* Works at the post office.
* Spent years either homeless or living in the worst possible slums out of extreme poverty.
* So she looks like it; while she's improving slightly now that she can afford to eat regularly and have decent clothes, she's still painfully thin. And missing a few teeth, as you can tell because she has a tendency to just let her mouth hang halfway open. See the GIFs above? That's the thing she does with her mouth. That and the kind of creepy smiling.
* Is basically tall (5'8" or so) and lanky and awkward and skinny. (She kind of has a great rack, though. I'm going with that just because my PB does.)
* Also has a tendency to stare a lot. Her eyes are usually fairly dull and frequently glazed over/unfocused unless she's actually paying attention to you.
* Is a walking ball of terrible life choices, a frequently morbid imagination, and epic self-loathing.
* Is a bit mentally unstable. She's got her good days and her bad days.
* But yeah, she'll talk to herself frequently, or sort of zone out on you.
* Has a habit of occasionally singing to herself as well.
* She does, however, have an absolutely terrible voice, because it's rough and croaky and ruined by drinking too much crappy liquor.
* Because she has a liiiiiiiittle bit of an alcohol problem (which I try to keep mostly off-screen, as it were, in game).
* Because her life before Fandom really really really sucked.
* Grew up with a thief and con man for a father, plus his gang of criminals, so her sense of morals is severely skewed.
* Is capable of being a conniving, scheming little shit who once manipulated the man she was in love with into walking into a certain-death situation just because he was in love with someone else and if she couldn't have him, nobody should.
* Canonically died doing that, because she saved his life -- by throwing herself in front of a gun. Not to save his life. To die before he did so she could be waiting for him in the afterlife. (Also because she knew she would have died of starvation or gotten killed eventually anyway, and this way she could at least sort of choose her own terms.)
* Survived that for Fandom purposes, and came here after escaping the barricade.
* Is trying to be a better person but honestly has no clue how to actually do it.
* Is pretty much looking out for herself first and foremost and will fuck you over without thinking too much about it if it benefits her (though not without OOC consent).
* Basically, she's an awkward mix of jaded/cynical/older-than-her-years and an 18-year-old girl who's still trying to be one.

* Is going to die this summer. I'd say that's a spoiler but it's been such a big part of Jaina and Tahiri's FH plotlines that it really kind of isn't.

* Has all the standard light-side Force abilities, but also a kind of battle precognition that lets him see the flow of the upcoming fight and anticipate his opponents' moves.

* So you know, she's got a couple of things in common with Éponine.
* Like the terrible self-esteem, though hers isn't nearly as severe as 'Ponine's.
* Likes punching people in the face. Or hitting them with a brick. In the face.
* Got to train with Iron Fist in K'un L'un while she was off in China with Tony last summer, and therefore got to take a level or two in badass. (This is basically the Nanda Parbat of the Marvelverse.)
* Is secretly the fourth of Batman's kid-sidekick Robins.
* The only person who has been expressly this as of yet is Tony (although Topher knows now, too, and anyone who knew she was Spoiler in the Umbridgeverse may know; poke me if you think you want to work that out). * Is not shy (read: occasionally kind of obnoxious, actually) about letting you know she's a lesbian.

* Is almost 5'4" thanks to a late growth spurt (and Jaina's remembering that after she got Nothing'ed, thank you, Jaina), very slender, with blonde hair, green eyes, and three vertical scars running from her hairline to her eyebrows. Also, is always barefoot indoors and most of the time outdoors, and only wears shoes in the winter, on really dangerous terrain, or if she's flying.
* Is a Jedi, yes. Powerful telekinetic, weak telepath except with other Jedi and particularly ones she's close to.
* Was BFF with Jaina's younger brother Anakin (nonelikemesince), although he's from a different version of their galaxy) all through childhood, and they'd just started being romantically involved when he was killed in the Yuuzhan Vong War. Was kind of massively shattered by this.

* Occasionally also gets sent off on missions for Time Force that usually involve tailing people suspected of time-traveling for dubious reasons.
* Lives in Newtech City, California along with bridge_carson, multiplez, and needsaparrot in the giant dog-shaped building that can also turn into a giant robot when necessary, yes.
* Still has Ranger powers; can morph into pink spandex-wearing, helmeted superhero type. Won't exactly be doing so at the drop of a hat.
* Decent with a blaster; good at hand-to-hand.
* Comes from a futuristic "utopia" that is actually kind of BADCREEPYWRONG, on account of all humans being genetically engineered before birth and the complete lack of junk food.
* Will hold a grudge forever against anyone who gets on her bad side severely enough, but that usually takes something like her former duty partner selling Time Force secrets to criminals.
