i remember this one time you came and picked me and eric arsenault up to go somewhere...i don't remember where...but you were backing out of my driveway and you backed into a big rock. and then eric played your(?) guitar in the backseat. yeah. that's it.

Awww, I definitely remember meeting you. I thought you were really sweet--I felt bad that you were sick. I wish that we had actually gotten to talk instead of watching Snatch (although it was an excellent movie).

This is random, but did you lend Lisa The Alchemist? Because inadvertently, that's a memory of you and me (if, of course, you did), because I wouldn't have read it and loved it if you hadn't. Of course, this meaningless if that wasn't you...Ha.

because... i think i lent it to her because jon lent it to me... and it was so amazing, i just had to pass it on. either that or she got it directly from jon and then passed it on to you... either way, i'm glad you enjoyed it. it's such a stunning book. more people should read it.

Lisa lent it to me...I'm not sure who her source was. I read it, nevertheless--and you are right, everyone should read it. I finished it feeling challenged and inspired and full of hope. I want to read more of Paulo Coelho when I have a chance (perhaps this long-awaited holiday break...)

I remember fighting with you because you wanted to throw away parts of your journal because the entries talked about some boyfriend...and i was horrified...because you had a whole chronology of journals...your whole life in the journals and i thought you were distorting the record by getting rid of those entries...like what the family of Emily Dickinson supposedly did. But, you got rid of them anyway because you said they were casting a dark feeling on your room.

if it was me...i think i would have thrown it away too.

hmm... it's weird that you remember that. but i'm really glad i got rid of those pages (i don't think it was a whole journal or anything) because there was some pretty hateful stuff in them. and who needs hate?

I think I have too many to list.

But this one time, we were practicing for music some summer afternoon and I wouldn't sing to show you guys how the song went. And now I sing all the time in front of people. One Thousand China Teacups.
