why would i post a live journal if i didn't want people to read it. why don't i just write it down in a 'real' journal that no one can read but me. i guess there are a couple reasons. the easiest reason is that i'm always on the computer when i'm home so it's convenient to get to. also this way seems much less tangible. once i hit the 'post' button

i'm not going to treat you differently just because you tell me something about yourself... i might get a new perspective on just who you are, but you are still you. if anything, getting to know people better just makes me more comfortable around them.
besides, whenever i get to talk to you about something that is actually important, it's worth it. the whole bonding thing.
there is a downside, though... i usually try to be helpful when someone is feeling less than happy. and when i'm trying to be "helpful", i always come off as being "pretentious". and usually i have no idea what i'm talking about... i'm just desperately trying to be helpful in some way. so i end up being very unhelpful and pissing people off at the same time.
and i'm rambling again. yeah. i had a bunch more that i was going to say, but then i deleted it.
i miss you a lot. please come visit soon.
