The Highwayman

PART ONE

The wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees.
The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas.
The road was a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,
And the highwayman came riding-
      Riding-riding-

Nice choice. Loreena McKennett did a wonderful song based on this poem. It's on the Book of Secrets cd. I don't know if you are a fan of hers but I love her stuff.
