I didn't remember there being a dragon in this film ... well, actually I remember nothing at all except the opening sequence, which (apart from being super-colourful and scary at the same time, and not in an Elephants On Acid way) used the same or a very, very similar piece of music as a sequence in (I think) the middle of Disney's "Robin Hood". Clearly I ought to watch it again.

i didn't really like this film as a kid. one of my least favorite disney movies. hmm maybe i'll give it another shot because it's really pretty.
