Really? I distinctly felt like "Adequate execution, horrible concept" sums it up for me better. A rare few scenes worked for me (construction workers falling especially, the lawnmower thing a little, Leguizamo's jeep hitting that tree sort of) but come on... the wind? Nature hates us now? That's what you got? Go back to magical mermaids and water-hating aliens, M. Night, because this isn't even ridiculous. It's sub-ridiculous.
But early on, before you know why it's happening, I was almost interested.
No no, you're right on this one! This movie was nice to look at, but I could barely keep watching once I actually thought about the idea that Shyamalan was asking us to buy. but come on... the wind? LMAO ikr? God that was so ridiculous and I'm really feeling some serious secondhand embarrassment for the people here who thought it was a good concept.
