Montreal. Our hearts are still so broken because of that day. I remember being home sick that day and seeing the report on the news. It felt as if the world had ended. Sadly, two more school shootings have occurred in this city since.

commonly referred to as the Montreal Massacre. december 6th is now the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. hard to believe it's almost been twenty years...

i continue to be astounded by the fact that so few people outside of canada remember/know about this.
