It basically concerns a young man's tumultuous love/hate relationship with his mother. There's a lot of yelling matches, boys kissing, and surreal montages.

everyone was freaking out about in québec when it was in cannes, it got a lot of hype here.

it's not a magnificent film, in my opinion, but nonetheless a very beautiful first film. oh_morpheus' synopsis is quite adequate.

i loved it. after watching i wanted to start learning french
