Baby Update
Annie had her first major ultrasound appointment last Thursday and we finally got a very good look at the baby.
The baby is a boy as you can clearly tell from the "money shot" here.
Here is his heartbeat below.
The nurse was trying to get a shot of his face, but he wasn't having it. Finally right before giving up, he turned to face the camera. It looked like something straight out of 2001: A Space Odyssey!
Then his little arm drifted up and it looked like he was waving. I'm so glad she snapped a pic of this because it is my favorite!
Here is a zoomed out shot where you can see his entire body including his right arm at the top there.
And finally, she took one to show us that the placenta was in a good spot.
So that's our little boy. They bumped us up a week, so now he's at 21 weeks and they said he weighs about 1 pound. Our new due date is July 15th!
