I went to see my personal trainer, Anne Marie, today to talk about how I should be eating to keep the weight gain low (20 lbs. max) and keep me and Gizmo healthy. She said to basically follow the same format I have been - 1 fruit, 1 grain and a oouple of proteins at breakfast, same for lunch, end the carbs around 3pm and just veggies and protein ( Read more... )

You could also use low-carb tortillas and make wraps instead of sandwiches. I like a wrap with turkey breast and low-fat swiss. You could add veggies too.
