Sigh.

So, I went on the quest to find a perfect flapper dress for the Bon Voyage Ball, because no one loves a theme more than me and the idea of trotting out a dress that WASN'T somehow a perfect replica or cheeky homage to 20s fashion simply wasn't an option. That is just totally awesome! I can't believe Terminus isn't really that far away at all. Hopefully, when you get the dress, things will be fine :)

I know, it's so odd to think we're only a couple of months away, I'm really getting excited!

I'll definitely update once the dress actually arrives and I see if it actually fits...I've never bought clothes on ebay before for precisely this reason!

Being the cheeky sort, I'd wear that dress other places. Heh.

I could use links, if you still have a list! Not that I have any idea ever what size I am and it changes about every month.

Ooh, I've got an amazing one that would have been my back-up had I not won the auction:

The site as a whole has amazing, reasonably priced dresses broken down by era:

They also have a whole section of flapper dresses:

Thank you! I think I've figured out why I've been avoiding buying a dress, now that I've looked at some of these--not that they're not gorgeous, but the style is almost everything I avoid in dresses. Heh. I may perhaps have to go up to the 40s to find something that goes with pear-shaped. :))

Dude, why do you think I went to ebay? ;) The drop-waist thing isn't terribly flattering on us ladies who have hips. 40s/50s is the way to go- they have some awesome stuff on that site.
