The DSO is doing Carmina Burana in December. I think it's going to be Slatkin's first concert as the new orchestra director.

If they're doing it, why can't I find it on their website? Or on ticketmaster? *argh* Do you happen to know the date? Thanks!

I feel poor. I hope you get to make it to this one. It should be pretty awesome with the UMS Choral Union as the primary chorus.

Anyway, I just sent you the link for Friday. It is also on Thursday the 11th, the 12th, both at 8. The 13th at 8:30, and the Sunday the 14th at 3:00.

If you get yourself to the DSO's calendar and click on the only blue boxes there are, "The Slatkin Era Begins" then you can get tickets.

Let Sarah Kate know about this one, of course. Blue Lake memories with this one.

Thanks! I was looking for the title "Carmina Burana", so that would explain why I couldn't find it. YOU ROCK!
